In course of our work we understood that we do not only sell clothing, but have to deal with a wider context. People, places, leisure time - that is usually called lifestyle. But people who share our attitude to fashion usually share our interests and tastes in other spheres. We have received very positive feedback on our Riga Guide - and this only proves our idea. We promise, sooner or later, to make a new edition of the guide. And now within our blog we are going to tell you more about places we love and want to share with you.
First post in ITK Tips series is dedicated to Vest, bar situated in Riga at Stabu iela 1. This was the first place that became “our”. Mostly thanks to the best bartender in town and our good friend Kristians (by the way, a very natural coincidence). Besides, we have much in common. Food, atmosphere, staff, interior - everything makes Vest a perfect choice for romantic dinner, party with friends or hangover breakfast afterwards. Moreover you can watch here the most important sports events, should it be football, hockey or basketball.
Our personal top-5 choices include crostini with salmon, burrito, steak-sandwich, roast beef salad and, of coarse, pelmeni. Most popular choice of the guests here is big burger. Our favourite drinks are local distillate Akmeņlauzis, flawless Bloody Mary and champagne (forget prosecco). Frankly speaking it doesn’t matter what you will order. You can be sure that you anyway will enjoy the meal. To sum up we would call Vest the best contemporary bar in the city.
During warm season they also have a big terrace and as a bonus - view of the Skonto Stadium, home arena of FC Riga and National Team of Latvia.
