In this latest collaboration, the renowned running brand has enlisted the talent of Jordan Page from Colour Plus Companie and Veryadvanced to reimagine the Saucony Matrix, a classic model from the year 2000.
This collaboration presents a fresh take on the Matrix, featuring a 'Beige/Brown' color palette that draws inspiration from Y2K, hippie culture, and outdoor aesthetics. The Colour Plus Companie x Saucony Matrix also includes vibrant, interchangeable laces, allowing for a personalized touch.
The Colour Plus Companie's Matrix showcases a hairy suede upper, enhancing its rugged aesthetic. Complementing this design are textile panels along the sides, which align with the trend of 'Wheat'-colored footwear that is particularly favored during fall and winter. The brand's name is playfully displayed on the top of the tongue in a multi-colored font, a design element that also appears on the footbed. Additionally, pull tabs at the heel introduce a zig-zag detail reminiscent of the 1990s, while vibrant sun and peace-sign icons on the spines add a lively touch to the Saucony Originals collection.
