Originally released in 2003, the Mayfly was designed as purely race shoe with the intention to minimize weight even if it comes at a price of durability, hence the name ‘Mayfly’ which is an aquatic insect that rarely lives for more than 24 hours. Featuring unstructured nylon upper and injection moulded Phylon soles, the Mayfly weighs as little as 135 grams and lasts as much as 100 km ultramarathon or several seasons of casual city pavement pounding.
